Training in sustainable livelihood techniques has been the most common activity characterising all A2N-Uganda projects. A2N-Uganda conducts training in sustainable agriculture technologies which is aimed at stopping soil resource degradation, enabling farmers to improve agri- cultural productivity and covers (i) crop husbandry; (ii) soil and water conservation (SWC); (iii) soil fertility management (SFM); (iv) agroforestry; (v) es- tablishment and maintenance of kitchen (vegetable) gar- dens; and (vi) energy conservation.
